People are contacting us with increasing frequency to evaluate a case that was initially being handled by a different representative. Sometimes the reason was doubts about how the previous representative had handled the case (it’s taking really long, the representative isn’t easy to reach, we’ve only spoken on the phone, etc.), but sometimes there is a concrete settlement offer that the victim has his or her doubts about.
We are happy to give our views on your particular case, a settlement proposal or other specific questions. The first and more global assessment is free of charge. We then come to a proposal of which we can indicate whether and if so how we can offer added value, which costs are involved in any further assessment and how we can achieve this in practice. If you decide we can take on your case, we will make clear agreements about the follow-up process, and also about the costs involved.
This way, no misunderstandings can arise and we can focus together on what matters.
In our assessment and advice, we will of course include the specifically submitted questions and, if possible, provide additional tips or advice based on our expertise and experience, after which it is up to you to follow up or make a decision. If you want to switch to us, then we will guide you and outline the options.
But perhaps our view on your case also gives you reason to consult with your own representative and create new openings. What matters to us is that when you ask for our view on the matter, it helps you further.
